When Food is cooked at a high temperature at a Faster rate this is grilling, while in barbecue it is done slowly on a low flame temperature. Tender meat is cooked on a gas burner or on charcoal fire which is used for grilling as this meat cooks Faster and the juices are retained in it. If the meat is left for a long time on the fire it dries up and is not as succulent as it should be.

Fruits, vegetables and sea Food are better grilled as they cook faster. The sugar caramelize in certain fruits because of the higher heat of grilling and this is exactly how it should be. Certain sauces are added to the foodlater as they contain sugar and the sugar should not be burnt in the process. Food that is being grilled should be checked off and on in order to prevent them getting over cooked. No matter what else you are busy with ensure that you keep a Watchful eye on your grill.

For barbecue you can use gas, charcoal or wood as a fuel. This is a better way to cook meat which is tougher as the long Cooking duration will soften the meat and for a large bit which is on a bone it will be much easier to slip it off the bone. The heat for barbecue meat is a lot lower than for grilling it. The sauce can be put on the meat while it is still on the fire and this creates a glazed effect on the meat making it look and taste more delectable.
